Ionox I3302 is a semi-aqueous solvent blend designed to remove difficult flux and paste residues including lead-free, rosin, no-clean, tacky flux, as well as other common electronic assembly residues.

Ionox I3302 is a highly dispersive cleaning agent engineered to remove organic acid, rosin and no-clean flux residues. I3302 is a bio-based environmentally friendly, naturally derived, biodegradable cleaning agent. The key ingredient within I3302 comes from corn cobs, oat hull, and sugar cane biomass extracts. I3302 has superior solvency for carboxylic acid structures, rosins, resins and ionic contaminants.

Ionox I3302 has a low vapor pressure, which reduces concerns over flammability and smell. The molecular structures used within the engineered composition provide a dispersive, polarity and hydrogen bonding balance. The dispersive driver provides strong solubility with rosin and resin structures. The polarity driver provides Van der Waals forces of attraction for mild acidic soils. The hydrogen bonding driver provides water solubility and the ability to remove ionic contaminates. These forces work in combination to form the ideal electronic assembly and packaging cleaning agent.
